CCS Nabs Top Hotel Integrator Spot for the 2nd Straight Year

Automation in hotels is a major priority for hotel management companies, and no one knows that more than CCS Presentation Systems, which once again scored the #1 integrator spot in the hotel market, as ranked by Commercial Integrator Magazine.

As hotels become more multi-use and automated with digital signage and entertainment options, the integration market for audio-visual solutions is growing in this vertical.

Commercial Integrator notes that to succeed in the hotel market, an integrator needs to be a partner in communication with the hotel. Starting out with a plan will help the hotel succeed in its AV solutions. If an integrator is brought in only to ‘fix a problem’ or replace another integrator, that could mean more trouble on the back end of any project, according to the magazine.

In last year’s awards, CCS also took the top spot for its work in managing installs and integration with hotels and sees further growth in the integration market for hotels. You can see some of the systems integration work that CCS did in the past to achieve this ranking.

If your business is looking for upgrades in AV solutions or other integration opportunities for digital equipment, contact CCS Presentation Systems. CCS was recently ranked by Systems Contractor News as one of the nation’s top audio visual integrators, by Commercial Integrator as the No. 1 audio visual integrator for the hospitality industry and by Ranking Arizona as the No. 2 Computer Training Center in Arizona.

SMART Launches New Real-Time Digital Capture Board at InfoComm 2014

InfoComm 2014 brought all types of new advancements in digital signage and audio-video solutions from our CCS manufacturing partners, like Christie, Epson and SMART.

And included in these innovations is SMART Technologies’ new SMART kapp™ Digital Capture Board, introduced during InfoComm in Las Vegas. SMART hopes that its new board will take dry-erase boards out of the past and into the future.

The SMART kapp is a dry-erase board, with pen and eraser included that lets users digitally capture and share text and drawings to smartphones, tablets, laptops or PCs. Businesses will find the 42” SMART kapp board to be an amazing new digital tool for their conference areas and huddle rooms.

Like a traditional dry-erase board, the SMART kapp is just about as easy and intuitive to use, but its features are really where it shines. SMART kapp users can write, draw, diagram and brainstorm using an ink marker, just as they would with a dry-erase board. But everything happens in real-time through the device, following along on their tablets, smartphones and laptops. The finished work is saved with SMART’s mobile kapp application to be shared instantly as a PDF, JPEG or presentation with any of the people in the group. Think of the possibilities in SMART collaboration with your team, to be able to draw and design in real-time and share that work instantaneously.

SMART says that the SMART kapp board, priced under $1,000. Resellers like CCS Presentation Systems will be able to sell and order the product by the end of this year.
